Texts on Type

This was a simple school project that involved redesigning the cover, table of contents, and several spreads for Texts on Type: Critical Writings on Typography.

Sirens

Four typographic posters based on the first 63 lines from Chapter 11 of James Joyce's Ulysses. Lines are referred to as Sirens. These lines are pieces of text taken from the rest of the chapter that are combined and rearranged into a strange, cacophonous poem that is almost unreadable at times. This series of posters seeks to convey the layering of noise and chaos in the text.

John Hersey High School: 2019 Fall Gala

John Hersey High School hosts a themed gala every year as a way to raise money for its choir. In 2019, the theme was Around the World. I was given free design reign and chose a vintage postcard feel with muted blues, greens, tans, and a splash of bright red.

**John Hersey High School: Wolfbyte 5822**

Logo adaptation for John Hersey High School’s Robotics team Wolfbyte 5822. Each year the troop competes, they adapt their school’s mascot to fit the theme of the competition. The theme in 2019 was space related.

Oracle Openworld 2017

I helped design, create, and launch the materials needed to transform the way attendees learned at conferences. This new idea was called Collective Learning and involved participants learning together through collaborative group discussions and exercises. We designed a Starter Kit to introduce Collective Learning to the speakers, as well as a number of worksheets to help familiarize them with the new format. Mockups for a number of potential attendee giveaway items were also created, including a Collective Learning Bundle Box featuring: the Field Guide, a notebook and pen, special lapel pins, and a coloring book.
